Dessert
No Egg Cookies
Ingredients:
- 1 cup butter softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1¼ cups chocolate chips
- ½ cup coarsely chopped pecans (optional)
Directions:
- Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
- In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and sugar.
- Gradually add flour; mix well.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Dough will be thick and somewhat dry.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. (If you don't have parchment paper, use foil coated with nonstick cooking spray.
- Gently press dough into the pan and shape into large eggs, or use cookie cutters.
- Sprinkle with pecans and press into dough.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan on a wire rack. If you have shaped cookies, remove carefully with spatula.
