Printable PMS Tracker

Sometimes the only way to notice a pattern in our behavior is to track it on paper. This is definitely true for PMS and using a PMS tracker can help a woman predict when certain symptoms are going to appear. When we know physical pain or irritability (or worse) is on its way, we can better prepare ourselves and prevent damaged relationships.

Yes! A PMS symptoms chart can help your relationships! If you have a daughter who has started her period, showing her how to use a PMS tracker can be a total game-changer in your house. You may not have ever noticed that you get in a fight with your husband or lash out at the kids exactly one week before your period starts, but tracking it for a few months will reveal the pattern and help you be more patient. And it will help your husband understand PMS, too! So download our free PMS tracker today!

Most women show some signs that their period is approaching, but PMDD is severe PMS. In PMDD, the main symptoms are mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, tension, and persistent anger or irritability. These severe PMS or PMDD symptoms lead to problems with relationships and carrying out normal activities. Women with PMDD usually also have physical symptoms, such as headache, joint and muscle pain, lack of energy, bloating and breast tenderness. According to the American Psychiatric Association, a woman must have at least five of the typical symptoms to be diagnosed with PMDD. The symptoms must occur during the two weeks before her period and go away when bleeding begins. Download iMOM’s PMS tracker to keep track of your symptoms.

If you think you have PMS or PMDD, use a PMS tracker for several menstrual cycles. You can use our PMS Reality Check to note which symptoms you are having on which days of your cycle, and how bad the symptoms are. If you seek medical care for your PMS, having your menstrual symptom charts is extremely helpful.
